AI in Action
Practical AI tips for our RCM CommUnity

Burning through your Claude tokens? AI has a cost. Here are five simple ways to make your usage go further inside your Revenue Cycle workflow:
1. Start New Chats Often
Each conversation carries its full history as context, which eats through your token budget. A fresh chat starts lean.
2. Use Projects for Recurring Work
Projects give Claude persistent context without re-pasting the same instructions every time. Set it once, reuse it often.
3. Use the Right Model for the Job
Not every task needs the most powerful model. Lighter tasks? Use a faster, more efficient model and save the heavy hitters for complex work.
4. Batch Your Questions
Instead of asking one thing at a time, combine related asks into a single prompt. You will get more done in fewer exchanges.
5. Work Around the 5-Hour Rolling Window
Claude's usage limits reset on a rolling basis. Spread heavy usage across sessions rather than burning through your window in one go.
This is a new recurring section - AI tips from the RCM CommUnity, every issue.
Summer is a season of momentum - and the Revenue Cycle CommUnity is moving right along with it. Whether you are stepping into a new role, hiring for one, or just getting smarter with AI, we are glad you are here.
Thank you for being part of this community. Stay curious. Keep connecting. Keep growing.
And as always, We Will See You Online.
