Revenue Cycle, Finance, Operations, Technology, CDI, and Strategy Leaders Begin New Chapters Across Healthcare

Summer often brings a season of transition, growth, and new beginnings. Across healthcare organizations nationwide, leaders are stepping into new roles focused on Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Finance, Operations, Technology, Clinical Documentation Integrity, and Strategic Growth. 

This edition of RCR|HUB Shakers & Movers highlights healthcare professionals who are beginning new chapters and helping guide the future of hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and healthcare organizations. 

Executive Leadership Making Summer Moves

UF Health Central Florida announced the appointment of Lydia Hendrix as Regional Chief Operating Officer. 

At LifeBridge Health, Brian Cawley has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of Carroll Hospital while also serving as Senior Vice President of LifeBridge Health. 

Randolph Health has a new leader, Kevin M. Spiegel, FACHE, who is now the Chief Executive Officer. 

Lee Health also announced a significant transition, naming Ben Spence, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, as its next President and Chief Executive Officer. 

Erin Knight, a licensed clinical social worker, has taken on a new challenge as the Chief Operating Officer at Kaiser Permanente's Vacaville Medical Center. This move marks another step in her leadership career with one of the biggest healthcare organizations in the country. 

Min Y. Lee, a seasoned professional with an MBA and MHA, is all set to take on a new challenge as the President of UNC Medical Center. 

Revenue Cycle and Patient Access Leadership Continues to Grow

Revenue Cycle and Patient Access continue to receive significant leadership attention across healthcare organizations. 

Sharlene Seidman has taken on a new role at Johns Hopkins Medicine, becoming the Vice President of Revenue Cycle. 

April Williams has started a new role as Director of Reimbursement Operations at University of Maryland Faculty Physicians. 

Prime Healthcare announced that Teri Meintel-Hurley, CRCR, has joined the organization as Corporate Vice President of Patient Access. 

Curry Health Network is getting a new Director of Revenue Cycle Services, Robert Chandler, to help with their revenue cycle transition. 

In payer strategy and reimbursement leadership, Andre Payne has accepted the role of Senior Director, Payer Revenue Strategy and Contracting with Ascension Saint Thomas. 

Finance Leaders Taking the Helm

Financial leadership remains a priority throughout healthcare as organizations continue balancing growth, reimbursement pressures, workforce investments, and technology initiatives. 

Mankato Clinic has a new Chief Financial Officer, Brandon Janike, who recently joined the team. 

Troy Stoehr is now part of Banner Health as their new Western Division Chief Financial Officer. 

Additionally, Jerry Yang has begun a new chapter as Chief Financial Officer at Community Health Network, one of Indiana's leading healthcare systems. 

These appointments highlight the continued need for responsible money management, showing that taking care of finances is still a top priority, and yes, cash is still king! 

Clinical Documentation Integrity Continues to Advance

Katie Parsley, who has a Master of Science in Nursing and is a registered nurse, has recently taken on a new role at Emory Healthcare. She is now the Associate Director of Clinical Documentation Integrity, Quality, and Education and holds certifications in Clinical Documentation Improvement and Healthcare Quality. 

As healthcare organizations continue focusing on quality outcomes and documentation excellence, CDI leadership remains a critical component of organizational success. 

Technology and Digital Transformation Leadership

Healthcare technology, described as the wild west, organizations are now hiring leaders focused on innovation, cybersecurity, interoperability, analytics, and digital transformation. 

Bill Bellando has started a new role as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Geisinger, marking a new chapter in his career. 

Hospital Sisters Health System has a new team member, Michael Lowe, who is now the Program Manager.  

Strategy, Growth, Patient Experience, and Human Resources

Healthcare organizations are also strengthening leadership teams responsible for strategic growth, workforce development, and patient experience. 

Kevin Phipps, who has an MBA and is a Certified Patient Experience Professional, has taken on a new role at Emory Healthcare. He's now the Vice President of Patient Experience. 

Lauren Faison-Clark is now part of the Beacon Health System team, serving as Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. 

Beth Israel Lahey Health has appointed Julie Kline, who holds the SHRM-SCP certification, as its new Divisional Vice President and Human Resources Business Partner, supporting the Lahey Clinic. 

Operational improvement also remains a priority.  

Terry Walton, LCSW, recently began a new role as Process Improvement Manager with Piedmont. 

Matt Ciancio joined Henry Ford Health as Senior Management Engineer. 

What Summer Leadership Changes Tell Us About Healthcare in 2026

Organizations continue to invest heavily in Revenue Cycle performance, Patient Access operations, reimbursement strategy, technology modernization, operational excellence, workforce development, and patient experience.
