8 Revenue Cycle Conferences Worth Attending in 2027

Where should the Revenue Cycle CommUnity gather in 2027?

It depends on why you're going.

Providers may be looking for education, peer conversations, new technology, CEUs or solutions to operational challenges. Business Partners have a different question: Will the Providers we want to meet actually be there?

That distinction matters when conference registration, travel, hotels, sponsorships and exhibit space can quickly turn into a significant investment.

For 2027, there are large national conferences, smaller Revenue Cycle-focused meetings and a few events that deserve more attention. And if travel isn't possible, don't discount virtual education. RCR|HUB is expanding its webinar series in 2026 into 2027, beginning with ZYNC Tech Group.

Here are the events we're watching.

Dates and locations were checked against available organizer information as of September 2026. Always confirm directly with the event organizer before booking travel

1. Western Region Symposium

When and where: January 24–27, 2027 | Las Vegas, Nevada

There is something appealing about starting the year talking Revenue Cycle.

The Western Region Symposium brings together healthcare finance and Revenue Cycle professionals from hospitals, health systems, health plans, and physician practices. Its January timing also makes it an early opportunity to hear what leaders are prioritizing for the year ahead.

For Providers, it offers education and conversations with peers. For Business Partners, look closely at the Provider attendance and titles represented before deciding whether exhibiting or sponsoring makes sense.

Worth a look for: Revenue Cycle leaders, healthcare finance professionals and organizations looking to start the year with a focused industry meeting.

2. HBMA Innovation Conference

When and where: March 8–10, 2027 | The Broadmoor, Colorado Springs, Colorado

The Healthcare Business Management Association represents an important part of Revenue Cycle: medical billing companies, RCM organizations, and the professionals who operate them.

Its Innovation Conference is intentionally smaller, creating an environment designed for discussion rather than the scale of a major national convention.

For leaders of billing and RCM organizations, that can make HBMA valuable for education, operational ideas and industry relationships.

For Business Partners whose primary objective is meeting hospital and health system Providers, however, evaluate the attendee mix carefully. A conference full of other Business Partners isn't necessarily where you need to spend your conference budget.

Worth a look for: Medical billing and RCM company executives, owners and operational leaders.

3. Revenue Cycle Conference

When and where: March 10–12, 2027 | Orlando, Florida

This one stays on our calendar.

The invitation-only Revenue Cycle Conference has become a well-attended meeting centered specifically around Revenue Cycle and healthcare finance.

That focus matters.

Providers can spend time discussing the issues they are actually dealing with across Revenue Cycle rather than navigating an agenda covering every corner of healthcare. Business Partners have the opportunity to be around hospital and health system Revenue Cycle professionals.

If you're trying to decide where to put limited travel dollars in 2027, this is one we would take a serious look at.  *This event has always had a waiting list!

Worth a look for: Hospital and health system Revenue Cycle leaders, finance executives, and Business Partners looking to meet Providers.

4. HIMSS27

When and where: April 5–8, 2027 | McCormick Place, Chicago

HIMSS is enormous, and Revenue Cycle is only one part of it.

But healthcare technology now touches virtually every part of Revenue Cycle. AI, automation, interoperability, cybersecurity, data, patient access and enterprise platforms are increasingly part of the Revenue Cycle conversation.

For Providers evaluating technology, HIMSS provides an opportunity to see a lot in one place.

For Business Partners, size alone shouldn't determine whether HIMSS makes your list. Look at whether your target Provider executives attend and whether you can realistically reach them in an event of this scale.

Worth a look for: CIOs, technology leaders, Revenue Cycle technology teams and organizations evaluating AI, automation and enterprise technology.

5. Becker's Annual Meeting

When and where: April 19–22, 2027 | Hyatt Regency Chicago

Becker's Annual Meeting isn't exclusively about Revenue Cycle, and that's part of its value.

Hospital and health system executives attend from across finance, operations, strategy, clinical leadership and technology. For senior Revenue Cycle leaders, that provides exposure to the larger issues affecting healthcare organizations.

For Business Partners, the attraction is straightforward: Providers.

The question isn't simply how many people attend. Look at the health systems represented, executive titles attending and whether those are the people your organization wants to meet.

Worth a look for: Hospital executives, CFOs, senior Revenue Cycle leaders and Business Partners targeting health system leadership.

6. HFMA Annual Conference

When and where: June 27–30, 2027 | Denver, Colorado

HFMA's Annual Conference remains one of the larger healthcare finance gatherings on the calendar.

The agenda extends beyond Revenue Cycle into finance, policy, operations, and leadership. That broader perspective can be useful for Revenue Cycle executives whose responsibilities increasingly intersect with the financial strategy of their organizations.

It is one of several strong opportunities this year, especially for those who want healthcare finance and Revenue Cycle in the same conversation.

Worth a look for: CFOs, healthcare finance professionals and senior Revenue Cycle leaders.

7. HBMA Revenue Cycle Conference

When and where: August 23–25, 2027 | Disneyland Hotel, Anaheim, California

HBMA returns later in the year with its Revenue Cycle Conference.

This meeting is particularly relevant to medical billing companies and outsourced RCM organizations. These organizations face their own operational, technology, compliance, staffing and reimbursement challenges, and HBMA gives that part of the industry a place to focus on them.

Again, audience matters.

If you run an RCM or billing organization, the educational and peer value may be significant. If you're a Business Partner primarily trying to meet hospital Providers, look carefully at who attends before making the investment.

Worth a look for: Medical billing companies, outsourced RCM organizations, executives and operational leaders.

8. Association of Revenue Cycle Professionals

The Association of Revenue Cycle Professionals is a newer organization we are watching.

Its Healthcare Revenue Leadership Summit brings Revenue Cycle professionals together around leadership, operations, education and policy issues affecting the profession.

The 2026 Summit in Washington, D.C. sold out, which certainly caught our attention.

At the time of publication, the 2027 Summit date hadn't been confirmed, so there isn't a flight to book yet. But this is an organization we think the Revenue Cycle CommUnity should know.

Sometimes the most interesting additions to the conference calendar aren't the biggest ones. This group has a strong board that knows RCM!

Worth watching for: Revenue Cycle executives, directors, managers, Patient Financial Services leaders, and others working directly within Revenue Cycle.

The Conference You Don't Have to Fly To

Don't have the budget, time, or desire to attend another conference?

Don't discount webinars.

A focused hour with the right subject matter expert can sometimes be more useful than three days walking an exhibit hall.  Many are offer CEU’s.

RCR|HUB is expanding our webinar series in 2026-2027, bringing Providers, Business Partners, and subject matter experts together for conversations around specific Revenue Cycle challenges.

Our first webinar features ZYNC Tech Group, focusing on payor portal access and the challenges surrounding employee access, security, control, visibility and activity across payor portals.

And we're just getting started.

If you can't travel, you can still be part of the Revenue Cycle conversation.

Don't Forget the Specialty Organizations

Eight  is not nearly enough to cover every worthwhile event.

Organizations including AAHAM, AAPC, ACDIS, AHIMA, MGMA and state and regional groups continue to provide education for specific areas of Revenue Cycle.

The right meeting depends on what you do.

Patient Access professionals may need something entirely different from coding and CDI teams. Physician practice leaders have different priorities from hospital CFOs. And a Revenue Cycle executive evaluating AI may have a very different 2027 calendar from someone focused on denials or reimbursement.

RCR|HUB's Revenue Cycle Calendar connects to organizations and events across the industry so you can keep looking beyond this list.

Providers: Decide What You Want to Bring Home

Before registering, ask what you actually need.

Is it education? CEUs? Peer relationships? New technology? A solution to a specific Revenue Cycle problem? Time with other leaders facing the same challenges?

Don't choose an event because everyone else is going.

Look at the agenda, speakers, educational tracks and organizations participating. Then decide whether you'll come home with something useful.

Business Partners: Start With the Provider List

Your conference decision should be different.

Business Partners aren't traveling across the country to meet other Business Partners. You want to meet Providers.

Before committing thousands of dollars to registration, sponsorships, exhibit space, airfare, hotels, dinners and everything else that comes with a conference, find out who will actually be in the room.

Ask for the Provider-to-Business Partner mix.

Look at Provider titles.

Look at the hospitals and health systems represented.

Review previous attendee lists when they're available.

And don't assume bigger means better.

A conference with thousands of attendees can look impressive on paper. A smaller Revenue Cycle meeting with the right 300 Providers may be much more valuable to your organization.

Go where your Providers are.
